Shuihu is a modern retelling of the classical Chinese novel: “Water Margin”, it tells the story of a group of heroes who travels from the 12th century Song dynasty to the present, at the request of a young journalist, to arrive in the modern-day to rescue his father. The story reflects what is happening in modern China.
